Featuring wide legs and tops with beveled lines, combined in an apparently irregular way, the Lobby Sideboard displays geometric connections that mimic the interlocking structure of cyclopean walls. Cyclopean walls are structures built with the ‘polygonal masonry’ technique, which sees more-or-less regularly-worked stone blocks placed on top of each other without the use of mortar. The unexpected dynamism of Lobby’s silhouette is generated by the encounter of different layers of materials. The monolithic legs and generous sizes make Lobby a sideboard with an undeniable sculptural style.
